The CryoMet project is organising a webinar to present the results of its LNG flow meter calibration campaign and highlight the project’s contribution to advancing liquefied natural gas (LNG) flow metrology. Registration is open to stakeholders interested in how CryoMet is contributing to more accurate, traceable, and reliable LNG flow measurements (registration through this link).
The upcoming webinar, entitled “LNG flow meter calibration results from CryoMet”, will provide an overview of the methodologies applied during the calibration campaign and present the main findings obtained. The session will discuss how the results contribute to improving the traceability, reliability, and understanding of LNG flow measurements, supporting future developments in cryogenic flow metrology.
The webinar will take place online on Friday, 4 September 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 CEST. The session will feature contributions from Menne Schakel and Ara Abdulrahman from the VSL National Metrology Institute, as well as Tamara Sarac from GERG – European Gas Research Group.
In addition to the technical presentations, the webinar will include a feedback session with members of the CryoMet Stakeholder Advisory Board. This group of experts will provide their perspectives on the project results, offering valuable insights into their relevance for the LNG and metrology communities.
The event is an opportunity for researchers, industry professionals, metrology experts, and stakeholders interested in LNG measurement technologies to learn more about the latest CryoMet developments and engage in discussions with specialists in the field. Participants are invited to register for the webinar and join the discussion on how CryoMet is contributing to more accurate, traceable, and reliable LNG flow measurements.
